About this Blog

Looking through God’s Word, from the beginning of time, God’s plan of man’s redemption is woven in its pages. In His Divine purpose, we read many accounts of common things used for uncommon purposes in order for the Glorification of God and the benefit of His people.  A donkey spoke, water turned into wine, an axe head floated, broken clay pots helped give Gideon’s small army a great victory, a scarlet tapestry saved the lives of spies, clay mud opened the eyes of a blind man and the list goes on.  God delights in doing the impossible by using an object other than its intended purpose to show us that He is not restricted or bound by the same limitations we are.  Who knew that a gnarly, wooden cross,  large metal spikes, and a crown of woven thorns would be the “uncommon means” to eternal LIFE? And who could have imagined that an empty grave would stand centuries later as a testament to Death’s greatest conqueror? And now I must wonder if God can do such great things with lifeless objects, what is His plans for YOU and for ME? Through this blog it’s my prayer that as we begin this walk together our adventure will take us on a journey that will strengthen and encourage us as we seek and find redemption “by uncommon means.”
